Reese Witherspoon's acting career started to flourish when she enrolled at Stanford University. In her early career, she played parts in films like Pleasantville and Election. But it is Elle Woods' portrayal in Legally Blonde which marked a important pivotal moment in her career. Witherspoon was awarded one Academy Award, in 2005, for her role as Walk the Line. In 2003, she made her debut as a film star in The Invisible Man. Her TV career started with House of Lies Whitney. Her film credits include The Dictator, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and The Dictator. In addition to her work as a performer, Sheila is also an accomplished artist. She has displayed her work in numerous galleries.
